Caleffi took part in a cycling tour of 1000 kilometers organized by “Kom op tegen Kanker”. This event was surely noticed in Belgium. 170 cycling teams have been raising funds for the organization “Kom op tegen Kanker”.

Together with three other companies (One Consultants, Jimmy D’Hondt BVBA en Cypres), Caleffi took part in the so-called “1000 kilometers against Cancer”. By covering a distance of 1000 kilometers by bicycle, the improvised cycling team called “JOCC” raised at least 6.000 Euros.
 
The money is used for patient-oriented cancer research: scientific research which has to make the treatment of cancer more efficient, to increase the probability of survival and to reduce side effects.
